Let me introduce ourselves. Our company (Firie Pty Ltd) trading as South East Fire Extinguisher Services is an INDEPENDENT COMPANY and has been operating since 1999, but we have been operating as a part time business in Mt Gambier for the last 30 years. Experience is essential when you want advice and information and this is available through John Schroder the proprietor of the company being involve with fire prevention majority of his life and having 13 years in the SA Metropolitan Fire Service. The company employs 3 technicians who are qualified in all fields of fire control, sales of equipment and testing. We have been expanding over the years and now have a large client base through out the upper and lower South East of South Australia.
As the name suggests we are involved in fire extinguisher servicing and maintenance, but we are also involved in all fire equipment sales and maintenance and we can assist you with the following:
FIRE EQUIPMENT CHECKS & SERVICING
As with all fire fighting equipment it must be maintained at regular intervals to ensure its readiness for operation in an emergency. All equipment is maintained and tested with certificates of inspection provided in accordance with Australian Standards AS1851.2005.
PRESSURE TESTING
We have a pressure testing station which has a Certificate of Conformity by the Australian Standards to carry our pressure testing. Our certificate covers Welded & Brazed, Seamless and Fibre Reinforced Plastic cylinders for testing. So we can pressure test Dive Bottles, Fire Extinguishers, CO2 Cylinders and other cylinders that conformed to the above.
