Blessed with the most beautiful location for a school - many would argue the best in the state – Tenison Woods has a technology focus with a huge amount invested in computer hardware and software. From our Music Suite, where students can write and produce their own songs, to the Imac’s in our Graphic Design Room, and our vibrant CISCO Academy, students have state of the art facilities that assist them achieve their goals and open up avenues of choices.

Senior school students have shown a great deal of interest in the “McDonalds” Practice Firm that was established in 2003. This valued partnership with McDonalds Restaurants has introduced students to a simulated world of business where they trade with other practice firms around Australia.

The “Basketball” Academy has also captured the imagination of many of the sports minded students.

Tenison Woods College prides itself on its multi-cultural offerings with students recently returning from a trip to America with trips also planned for China & Italy every year.

Once again, Tenison Woods College is very proud of the excellent results achieved by our 2005 Senior School graduates. We congratulate the 2005 SACE Stage 2 students on their achievements, and wish all graduates great success in their future fields of work and study.

The school DUX award goes to the highest TER ranking in the college. Congratulations to Tamara Turnbull, in winning this award and achieving this outstanding Tertiary Entrance Ranking (TER) of 97.85. Tamara also obtained straight A’s for all her subjects.

Eight students achieved a TER of 90 or greater. This represents 28% of the Year 12 cohort.

Since 2001 the College has maintained a consistently high level of academic achievement, averaging 8% above the state average, and the 2005 results reflect the high level of engagement and achievement of our students. Overall, 26% of our 2005 SACE Stage 2 subject scores were A grade results (5% above the state average); 64% of all subject results were B grade or better (8% above the state average).
