Tenison Woods College is an enterprising Catholic school providing excellence in education for all students. Our school motto is “Let Your Light Shine”.

This means that we are strongly committed to educating all students to achieve their personal best in academic, spiritual, social and sporting achievements.

Situated on picturesque grounds at the foot of the Valley Lake on the western outskirts of Mount Gambier Tenison Woods College provides a Catholic Education to students from Mount Gambier as well as Tenison Woods College was formed in 2001 following the merging of St. Paul's (primary) School and Tenison College (secondary school). Both of these schools had proud reputations, with an excellent record of student achievement and care for individuals.

Of course central to our existence is our Catholic ethos, espousing the Christian values that are important in the development of the whole person. We are structuring our College where the juniors “look up” to the senior students and the seniors “look after” the juniors. The students have responded very well to this and the values learnt through these experiences will carry them through their lives.

Tenison Woods College is a school for the whole family and each student is valued for the unique skills, talents and qualities they contribute to our school community.
